Whiting and family motored to Be- midji Sunday evening to view the aeroplane exhibition. Mrs. Jennie Crandahl and children from Pine Island are guests at the E. Letcher home for a few weeks. The town of Northern formers’ club gave a picnic the Fourth at the Home of Hans Neilson on LaKe Moval. Over one hundred were in attendance, and an enjoyable time was had. Ralph Brown has returned from North Dakota where he had been the past few weeks. He came down to spend the Fourth at good old Be- midji. This party has rented a house from N. A. Otterstad on Honey Is- land, in Turtle River lake and will be there for two weeks’ outing. oartin Otterstad, who has been in Minneapolis, working for four months, arrived home again here July 6. He was well pleased with the trip. Turtle River didn’t have any cele- bration the Fourth of July and no airplane was to be seen, either.
