Pinewood honored her returned soldiers for the third time Saturday evening by a grand ball at the hotel, in honor of Sever Melland and John Iverson who recently returned from over there. A large crowd was pres- ent end good gunlc was furnished, and the Red Cross ladies served a fine lunch at midnight, free to all. The boys were made to feel that the home folks appreciated what they had done for their home and country in making the world safe for demo- cracy. : Tom Fossend received his new Ford automobile Monday, and we hope he has much pleasure and good luck joy riding.
