Rex Werwee has rented and moved into the Duset residence at the lake. M. B.. McKnight having sold his farm nas moved to town and rented the Burkee residence, and Ed Knapps nave rented and moved irto the Werner residence. So guess some one will have to commence to build ar else move on. ‘Glad’ to see Conrig Henry back in our midst again. Sure seem& nice to se2 old faces. ‘Our boys are retuming one by one from “over there” Happy Gustafson appeared with his helmet and gas- mask, but had not lost his smile, the other day, and we sure welcome him back. Dr. Neal was called out to Conk- iuis the other day, but glad to know things are well with the patients there. Miss Palmer entertained the-club #riday and all reported a lovely time. Sunday night (Easter) April 20th there will be services in the Puposky Town Hall, and a little Easter pro- gram. Everyone is invitea to at- tend. Come and bring a friend. Ray McKnight returned from Mon- tana last week, where he has been to-look over his interests out there. Rex Warner went to Crookston 1ast week, where he will remain over the summer. A. L. Bagley from DBemidji came up here today himself and a erew of men and one téam started in here to load out three cars of logs, which he purchased here from N. A. Otterstad. Wes Wright from Bemidji bought a carload of potatoes and shipped out last week and today he is loading out another car of spuds from here. The price being $1.00 per one hundred pounds. Wila A. Otterstad was appointed assessor for the Village of Turtle River by the county auditor, and wzs in Bemidji last Saturday to ex- copt the office and give bonds, and receive the book.
