PAGE SIX HYATT PLACED ON TRIAL | FOR BANK ROBBERY Minneapolis, April 9.—Trial of George Hyatt, Anoka county, Sun- day school teacher and alleged rob- ber, was scheduled for today in the county court here. Hyatt is charged with attempting to rob the state bank of Champlin March 14 and assaulting Miss Hazel Flynn, teller. Miss Flynn was severe- 1y beaten by a man in soldiers uni- ! form and dragged to the basement of the bank when she refused to di- vulge the combination to the bank vault. Subsequently Hyatt was ar- rested at Anoka. According, to confessions alleged have been made to the county au- thorities by Hyatt and a 15 year old boy who accompanied him Hyatt had been playing a double,-role for nearly ten years. He was deacon in a church at Anoka, teacher of a Sun- day school class of boys, a printer and considered a model man. The Anoka county grand jury fol- lowed the Hennepin county grand jury in indicting Hyatt, the former charging him with robberies dating back several years. L. L. Longbrake, public defender, had Hyatt examined by Dr. J. A. Sweeney who declared Hyatt has the mentality of a boy ten years and two months old. Hyatt is 31 years old. Dr. Sweeney examined thousands of men at Camp Grant for army service and as a result of his testimony At- torney Longbrake is expected to de- fend Hyatt on the ground of insan- ity. SCRUB POULTRY IS SOLD FOR PUREBRED Farmers all over Minnesota are buying scrub poultry thinking they are getting purebred stock, says W. E. Stanfield, extension poultry man at university farm. Farmers and others who are making this mistake are being induced to do so by “deal- ers” or “hucksters’” who pick up at packing houses and elsewhere scrub gtock which looks like purebred but which cannot qualify under close in- spection. Mr. Stanfleld says that men doing this kind of business in the state are undoing the missionary work of the agricultural extension division of the university and others who are trying to induce farmers to put in good foundation stock. A case cited by Mr. Stanfield is that of a farmer who thought he was getting some fine White Wyandottes, and bechuse of his confidence in his purchase placed them on exhibition at a poultry show, only to discover that he merely had white seribs and not White Wyandottes at all. An- other farmer who paid $12 for two or three ‘blooded” cockerels was found to have cockerels that were scarcely worth the market price for dressed poultry. 9 AN £ 1 I view. of thé situhtion ME.!Stan- " 'fleld ‘urges farnters tp huy Only from mén who are known to* bréed- their stock. YOUR GRAY HAIR Use Gradma’s Sage Tea -afid Sulphur Recipe and No- body Will Know. The use of Sage and Sulphur for restoring faded, gray hair to its nat- ural color dates back to grandmoth- or's time. She used it to keep her hair bbautifully dark, glossy and at- tractive. . Wheneveér Her hair took on that dull, faded or streaked appear- ance, this simple mixture was applied with wonderful effect. " But brewing at home is mussy and out-of-date. Nowadays, by asking at any drug store for a 50 cent bottle of “Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur Com- pound,” “you' will get this famous old preparation, improved by the addi- tion of other ingredients, which can be depended upon to restore natural color and. beauty to the hair. A well-known downtown druggist says it darkens the hair so naturally and evenly that nobody can tell it has been applied. “"'You:simply damp- en a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one strand at a time. By morning the gray hair disappears, and after another npplication or two, it be- comes beautifully dark and filossy. Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur Com- pound is a delightful toilet requisite for those who desire & more youthful appearance. It is not intended for the cure, mitigation or preveation of disease. * Addresss M. H, C., §d412 . Out of a total of nearly 1,800 cases of the so-called Spanish “Plu”’ at Davenport, Iowa, under the care of Chiropractors, but one died. Can any other method of healing compare with this? Chiropractic is not limited to a few aches and pains of the spine, as so many people are led to believe. The nerves supply every part of the body, and not an organ will function without them. They carry the vital force that causes the heart to beat, the lungs to breath, the stomach to digest, and, in fact every move- ment of the body .is controlled through them. force to that organ is impaired, and stomach trouble is the result. Nearly all disorders and diseases are caused in the same man- ner. Thus, the only sure way of regaining one’s health, is to have the cause of the trouble removed, and allow your system to re- build itself. - ) ) Do you know of any doctor that can grow _hair, nails, bone, teeth, skin or any other tissue of the body? No. Then the best way to rebuild a weakened part is to have a Chiropractic doctor ad- just your spine, thus removing the pressure on the nerves, allow- ing the normal amount of nerve force to flow freely, to the disas- ed or weakened part. After the cause is removed the effect will be eliminated and health is the result. ) ) ) No matter what your troubles may be, if you Wlsh to regain your former health take the time to visit your Chiropractor and he will gladly explain his science to you and place you on the road to health and happiness.
