it PAGE FOUR THE BEMIDJI DAILY PIONEER WEDNESDAY EVENING, MARCH 19, 1919, INSTITUTES NOW IN PROGRESS Five farmers institutes of much interest are being held this week throughout the southern portion of Beltrami county. The meetings are given under the auspices of the State Agricultural Ertension Division, the South Beltrami County Farm Bureau and the varfous farmers’ organiza- tions. The first meettng was held at Blackduck, and took place Tuesday; the next will be at Kelliher, and will be held today; the meetings to be held in the city halls of the respec- tive villages. The third meeting will take place Thursday at the Saum school house; the fourth meet- ing will be held at the Presbyterian church at Quiring, Friday, and the last meeting will take place at the consolidated school at Solway, Sotur- day. The speakers will be A. J. Mec- Guire, an extension worker of the University of Minnesota, whose sub- ject will be “Dairy Feeding, Care of the Dairy Cow and Creameries”; Mr. Eastgate, an expert in sheep and beet cattle raising, will speak on the subject, ‘“Sheep, Beef, Cottle, Rota- tion of Crops, and Marketing,” and A. W.
