PIANIST PLEASES. Bemidji showed its appreciation of good music last evening when a large audience attended the-concert given by John Jacob Beck, the noted /Minneapolis ~ pianist. The concert was given "in_ the Presbyterian church, under the auspices of the Christian Endeavor society: The se- lections Mr. Beck had chosen for the entertainment last evening were well balanced and- pleased - the :audience, it being one of the.best .concerts.ever given in Bemidji. Mr. Beck respond- ed to several encores. ‘Miss Grace Currie played. a violin number and also responded to an encore. Al though a very young Miss, she is a talented violinist.
