IT'S AN ILL EARTHQUAKE Rome, Aug. 12.—By Mail.)-——The American Red Cross in Italy using part of the wreckage of the 1915 earthquake disaster at Avezzanno and Sora to construct a badly needed day nursery at the latter place. ¥ No new building material being available, the Red Cross got to work and collected enough bricks, timber and metals from the ruins that once was Sora, the result being that a building which will care for 400 ba- bies while their mothers are attend- ing to harvest duties is now in opera- tion.
