Pokio, Aug. 23.—(Official.)—The Czech-Slovaks has asked for allied re- inforcements in the region of Lake Baikal, says a correspondent for the Nippon: News agency. The Czechs, says the dispatch, are seriously threatened there and de- clare they much decisively defeat the Bolsheviki .within a month, before winter sets in. g S. A. GETS $100.000. I New York, August 23.—In recognition of the assistance ren- dered the wounded in France by the workers of the Salvation Army on duty there, the United States cor- poration sent $100,000 to the army’s war work committee. The name-of this corpora- tion 'shall be Bemidji Potato Products Company. Section 2. The government of sald corporation and the management of its affaits shal: be vested in a board of directors of not more than_ twelve (12) mnor less than seven' (7) members, who shall be elect- ed from the stockholders of said corpora- tion at its annual meeting, which shall be held in the city. of Bemidji, Minne- sota, on the second Monday in January of each year, and- they shall hold office until their successors are -elected -and was in Greenwood.
