At the Rex theatre tonight, Wil- liam Fox will present Jane and Kath- erine’ Lee in “Doing Their Bit,” a five part picture with a patriotic flavor. These juveniles are among the most popular before the public and this play is well adapted to their tal- ents. Alice Howell will also be seen in the Century comedy, “She Did Her Bit.” It is said that Miss Howell {s a regular feminine Charles Chaplin and that this comedy is a shower of laughter. SR The ‘““Treasure of the Sea,” a dra- ma wound around the recovery of a buried treasure witn the scene of ac- tion on the Pacific coast, will be shown at the Rex tomorrow, matinee and evening. Henry Ames has misused the pow- er of attorney left him by Jim Hard- wick to cause the financial ruin of Thomas Elkins, while Hardwick is in the west. Elkins and his daughter, Ruth, return to the Pacific coast, their old home and there Ruth meets Jim, who calls her the “Lady of the Sea.” Both, unknown to the other, discover the treasure of a sunken ship, and obtain men fo unearth it. Ruth’s men drive Jim’s workmen off and he is made a prisoner. However, Ames arrives on the scene, and Ruth over- hears him telling of his treachery. After Ames has bee dealth with, Jim and Ruth save the gold from the mutinous workmen. The picture closes with their future happiness as. sured. Charlie Chaplin will also make his appearance in ‘““The Tramp,” another two reel riot of nonsense. COMING MONDAY.
