Benner and_children, Jean and Marion, returned from a visit of five weeks at Mankato Sun- day. They were accompanied from ‘Minneapolis by E. L. Benner. - M. LaFontisee, accompamed by his dnughter, Miss Ella LaFontisee, left ‘last evening for Bessmer, Mich., hav- ing - received a telegram yesterday that his sister, Mrs. Phelina Guyer, died Saturday night. Mr, and Mrs. LaFontisee and daughters Ella, Kate and Lucy re- turned yesterday afternoon from a 525-mile automobile trip. At Cove, Minn., they visited Mr. and Mrs. La- Fontlsee’s daughters, Mrs. C. L. Freer and family, who accompanied them to Princeton where they were the guests of Mrs. LaFontisee’s father, Owen Brakken. Mr. Brakken is 99 years -old. _They, also visited old friends and “relatives in Forreston, Minn., where an old settlers’ reunion was held in their honor. They were gone ten days.
