': 3 A PAYING PROPOSITION Talking about sheep raising: Rich- ard Roller, a farmer living north of the lake in the Rice lake section can vouch for the animals being a pay- ing proposition. Roller located in the region between Rice and Big lakes a year ago last spring and now has .twelve head of cattle and one hundred head of sheep, nibbling down the pea vine, getting fattened for the mutton, growing & good crop ot wool,. increasing the herd . and killing oft the brush to make & farm.
