December 6-7—Annual meeting of the Northern Minnesota Develop- ment association and potato show. | SOCIETY Y’s CLUB PLANS PARTY At the meeting of the Presbyter- jan girls’ Y’s club last evening in it was Monday night. All are to come at- tired in children’s costumes and children’s games will be played dur- ing the evening. The regular drill was held last evening under the di- rection of Rev. Warford. The mem- bers of the club will crochet wash cloths for the Red Cross chapter. Thirty balls of yarn were distributed last evening and some crocheted cloths previous to this. SANDE-CHRISTIANSON Anton Sande and Miss Marie Chris- tianson, both of Bemidji, were mar- ried Saturday evenin gat 8 o’'clock at the Presbyterian parsonage, Rev. L. P. Warford officiating. They were attended by the groom’s bro- ther, Arne Sande. They will make their home in this city. MOOSE DANCE TOMORROW Members of the Moose lodge will . give a dance, card party and supper .~ Wtomorrow evening in the Moose hall. Al members are asked to come and bring their friends. Mrs. Joseph Boss of Omaha, Neb., is a guest at the E. R. Evans home for a few days while here on busi- ness. Mrs. Boss owns property in Bemidji. Mrs. J. H. Koors will leave this evening for Minneapolis where she will visit before going to Tomah, Wis.,, where she will be the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Anna Sweet. Mrs. Sweet visited at the Koors home here last year. Mrs. Charles Eastman, who has been visiting relatives in Turtle River, returned to her home in Moose, Minn., yesterday. Her home was formerly at Turtle River. Mrs. E. M. Hayner will leave to- day for Iowa, New Mexico and Ken- tucky where she will visit friends and relatives for about six months. She has a brother in Louisville, Ky., and a son in New Mexico. Mrs. Hayner is the mother of R. C. Hay- ner of Lake Boulevard.
