SCRAP LOOMS OVER LIQUOR VOTE RECOUNT (By Lnite(l Press) Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 19.—The attorney general today ordered an official recount of the ballots cast at the recent prohibition election. It is probable the wets will seek an in- junction to prevent a recount, they being slightly in the majority lead upon the returns sent in by election boards. FUNERAL HELD The funeral of Mrs. Mary Bord- well of Cass Lake, who died in this city Tuesday afternoon, was held in Brainerd yesterday, where the body was shipped for internment. BACK NOT BROKEN Carl Madson is confined at St. An- thony's hospital and is in a serious condition as the result of injuries received when he was struck by a steel beam while working on the new building on Plant No. 1 of the Crookston Lumber company. Al- though his back is severely injured, it is not broken as at first thought. He is married and has four chil- dren.
