Wesley Jones of the state of Washington. Proof of the added cultivation is to be established under such rules as the Secretary of the Interior shall prescribe. Senator Jones is thoroughly familiar with the Western land laws, and feels that the option which is granted homesteaders under his bill will be a much needed relicf to many who are unable to meet the necessary cash payments.
