Tommy Luscian, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Z. Luscian, was seriously injured yesterday afternoon when he fell from a box car fifteen miles be- yond Bemidji. He was immediately taken back to Bemidji where medical aid was secured. Reports say that his right leg was crushed. Mr. Lus- cian was making his student run as brakeman on the Great Northern when the accident occurred. Attorney Arthur Lewis, who has been visiting his brother, E. E. Lewis of Bagley, motored up from that place Saturday and spent a few hours in the city, while enroute to Minneapolis. Attorney Lewis has en- listed and will soon leave for Fort Dodge, Ia. Miss Margaret Anderson of Inter- national Falls, formerly of this city, will arrive in Bemidji this week and will be the guest of friends here for a few days before returning to Moor- head, where she will resume her studies at the normal. E. N. Ebert and B. R. Erickson returned vesterday from a business trip to Minneapolis.
