The purpose is to raise money to buy goods for the work shop. Each week they endeavor to give some sort of an entertainment or a card party. Mrs. C. R. Sanborn is at the head of the committee and Mrs. J. H, Koors and Miss Parker are helping her. ‘Wednesday of this week they start raising money by giving a card party at the Elks’ hall. Admission will be 25 cents. Every one is urged to be present. There will be prizes and refreshments. DIES IN MISSOURI Mrs. S. U. Hayden of Turtle River died Saturday morning at Excelsior Springs, Mo., from a complication of diseases. She had been ill since last winter and was about 46 years of age. She leaves a husband and five children. Two sons, Raymond and Chester, living at home, one married — daughter, Mrs. Charles Erdahl, living at Moval Lake, and two daughters in Dakota. Mr. Hayden was at his wife’s bedside when she died and the children left Saturday night for Mis- souri. The funeral will be held to- morrow afternoon.
