The Board of County Commissioners of Beltrami County met on Tuesday, the 12th day of June, 1917, at ton o'clock A. M., as per adjournment. Present: l?akoi‘e!m!dahl. Hayes and Ellis. Absent: nnon. The minutes of the meetings of May 8th and_ May 29th were read, and on motion guly seconded and carried were approved. pR petition from the City Council of the City of Bemidjl, asking for an ap- propriation from the Road and Bridge Fund of the County for use in the con- ruction of the Bridge across the Mis- sissippi River at the inlet of Lake Be- midji was offered and read. On mo- tion" duly seconded and carrled, the pe- tition was laid on the table to Teceive attention at the next meeting. The petition of O. K. Lokken et al, praying for the dissolution of School District No. 118 in the Village of Redby, -was read, and on motion duly seconded and carried, hearing on the same was set for July 10th, at 2:00 o'clock P. M. It was moved by Hayes, seconded by Imsdahl that Dick Willums be appoint- ed Road Overseer for the Unorganized Assessment District No. 5. _Carried. NOW BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer be instructed to con- struct the following timber bridges by day labor under his direction and ac- cording to the plans and specifications prepared by him, the work to be care- - fully inspected by the committee of the Bridge No. 34 in Towns 149 and 150, Range 31, Blackduck River.
