It is the official moving pictures of “Life and Training in the U. 8. Navy,” used by the navy department to stimulate enlistment. This is an opportunity for those having rela- tives and friends from here serving in the navy to see just what the boys are required to do on Uncle Sam's ships of war. Two of the most unusual roles ever seen on th. screen are portrayed by Kathlyn Williams who is to be seen at the Grand theater tonight, co-starred with Theodore Roberts in the Lasky-Paramount production of Beulah M. Dix's thrilling five-part drama, “The Cost of Hatred.” In this story Miss Williams .is seen as both the mother and the daughter. ‘As the young daughter presiding over the estates of her father in Mexico, Miss Williams is said to have a most wonderful op- portunity of displaying her dramatic ability. Warford, pastor of the Presbyter- ian church, officiating. Interment was made in Greenwood. Mrs."Dor- an died very suddenly Sunday after- noon at her home. She had been'in poor health for the past year. Rev. Lester P. Warford, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiated at the funeral of Mrs. N. G. Reyn- olds Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Reynolds died Fri- day morning from pneumonia. She had been ill for about ten days. The funeral of Miss Elgie Ditty was held yesterday from the Presby- terian church at Blackduck, Rev. Lester P. Warford officiating. Miss Ditty was 18 years old at the time of her death, and leaves to mourn her death, her father and mother, four brothers, Clinton and Frank of Blackduck and Archie and Alvin of this city, also two sisters, Mrs. Mar- gie Neilson of Minneapolis and Miss Jennie Ditty of Blackduck. The cause of her death was Bright’s dis- ease. - Rev. Whitby of Madelia, Minn., officiated at the funeral of Margaret Louise Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Miller, who died Fri- day morning. The funeral was held from the Baptist church at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon and interment was made in Greenwood.
