THREE ARE HELD TO GRAND JURY; ATTACK ON HEATH CHARGED Charles Shores, Clarence Ferguson and Joe Sawyer:were this afternoon committed to the county jail on a charge of assault and robbery on Sam Heath Monday night near the cemetery as the party was in an auto. The men were arraigned be- fore H. J. Loud, acting for Judge Gibbons, waived examination on ad- vice of Attorney = Scrutchin, were held for aetion by the grand jury. State’s Attorney Torrance appeared for the people. In the affair, Heath was terribly pounded and robbed and it is hinted a quantity of booze figured in the fracas.
