The trade commission has delayed its news print investigation report until after the meeting. Intimations from Canada that no embargo will be put on paper exports and that any price fixing measure that may be passed will not go into jmmediate force have relieved trade commission officials of a fear that the Canadian situation might again :pset the American news print mar- et. COUNTY MONEY SHUT OFF FROM CHURCHES Chicago, Jan. 26.—An injunction, restraining Cook county from paying $4,000 to the Chicago Industrial School for Girls, a Roman Catholic jnstitution, has been issued by the eircuit court on petition of a tax- payer who sets forth that a state statute forbids payment of money by a county to an institution controlled by a church. Wards of juvenile court have been sent to the school and the coun- ty has paid for their support. Sim- ilar suits are pending against insti- tutions of the other demoniations. Put into an iron kettle one table- spoonful butter, three tablespoonfuls ‘water, one teacupful white pulverized sugar. Boll until ready to candy, then throw in three quarts nicely popped corn.
