According to Secretary Madison, the strike has reached above the heads of the local branch and over evory intervening head between the local branch and the general head- quarters in Chicago, and that the strike was now under the direction of the national headquarters offi- cials. He also stated that if neces- sary 20,000 members of the organi- zation could be mobilized in at the scene of the trouble. He also vol- unteered the information that about 20 members of the I. W.
