D. A On December seventh.and eighth, Bemidji will again be host to the Northern Minnesota Development as- soclation. The association was originally formed in Bemidji by a small group of boosters. Today every developer of Northern Minnesota is or should be a member of the organization. Much good has been accomplished by the association. At each meeting an excellent program is given, during which addresses are given by leaders on various subjects that confront the settlers of Northern Minnesota. During the past year the associa- tion has especially accomplished a large amount of good. One of the chiet accomplishments since the meeting in Bemidji in 1915 was the passage of Amendment Number One, which provides for a revolving fund to aid the improvement of lands in Northern Minnesota. At the 1915 winter meeting the campaign for the amendment was inaugurated and as a result of this campaign the amend- B was passed, oun meectings are of | and we urge that ev- Tt u much in ery booster of Northern Minnesota | attend. I trust that it has but whetted the appetite for more and still better advice, and to make for a large representation from among the various boards and clubs to the meeting at Bemidji. I find that farmers who have attended pre- vious ones are checking up dates for this one and intend to go. Why not come on with the bunch that is for progress in Cass county? Look over your local papers for the program of the meeting and be sure to eome. We want to learn all we can to help us make better progress. Yours for progress, M. N.
