. ‘SPORT NEWS COLERAINE STAR WILL HAVE TO BE WATCHED CLOSELY It has been learned that Coleraine ig to have a ‘“star player” in its line- up for Saturaay’s game. Dudley Kane, a track and field star, is again in Coleraine’s lineup this year. Kane has shown up well in all the games thus far this season and, no doubt, will be the best ground gainer for the Coleraine eleven. Mr. Kane entered the interschol- astic meet at the University of Min- nesota last spring and took first place in two events. The Bemidji eleven went through another hard scrimmage again last evening and is working hard for the coming game. Bemidji’s chance for a victory look better now that My- ron Plummer and Frank Phibbs are back in the game. Plummer is a fast backfield man and will be used at the quarterback position in Satur- day’s game. Frank Phibbs will also be able to play Saturday and will hold down left end. Plummer and Phibbs showed up exceedingly well in the Akeley game and with these men added to the regular lineup a fast exhibition of football is looked for next Saturday.
