I believe the operation of the pres- ent judicial ditch law to be excessive- ly costly and that the homes and property of our citizens, which dre pledged for the payment of the in- terest and principal of said bonds, have been jeopardized by the enor- mous issue of bonds, and the high rate of interest paid therefore. I will do all I can to secure legis- lation to relieve the county from any possible future payment of said ditch loans. My politics are Republican; but under the law I am compelled to make the race as a Non-partisan. I prom- ise also, that every citizen, regard- less of his political belief will re- ceive the same degree of courtesy and attention, and that special privil- eges will be extended to none.
