Mrs. George Coehnn, Sr., and Mrs. William Chichester left yeuterdny for on Rlver Wis., where they will at- tend a home-coming" celebration. ‘They will be joined at Iron River by Mr. Cochran and George Cochran, Jr., and will return to Bemidji next ‘week. The Cochrans were formerly residents of Iron River. The Bemidji band will give a free oconcert at the city hall tonight be- ginning at eight o’'clock. After the concert a dance will be given at which the admission charge will be 76 cents per couple. The Burchard ‘orchestra will furnish the dance music. Mrs. John Goodman, 503 Bemidji avenue, has as her guests, her sis- ters, Mrs. E. D. Pepper of Birming- ham, Ala, and Mrs. C. A. Roman of Monticello, Minn. Mrs. Pepper 'will remain until the Christmas holi- days, but Mrs. Roman expects to re- turn home in a short time. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Kenfield, 1115 Lake Boulevard, motored to Cass Lake Wednesday. They were accom- panied by Mesdames Quincy Brooks, W. B. Dean and J. J. McLaughlin. While in Cass Lake they were the guests of Mrs. Kenfleld’'s mother, Mrs. H. D. Kenfield. oCl Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. A. John- son who motored to Bemidji from Virginia, Tuesday, returned to their home yesterday after a short visit at the home of Mrs. Johnson’s sister, Mrs. Robert L. Given, Lake Boule- vard. Rev. Osmund Johnson, pastor of the First Scandinavian Lutheran church, and wife returned yesterday noon from Oklee and Trail where they have been the guests of rela- tives and friends for several days. The Junior Commercial club will hold a meeting at the Commercial club rooms tonight to reorganize the club and to elect new officers. Plans will be made for the winter season. Mrs. Porter Kohler and son, Charles, of Minneapolis arrived ln Bemidji yesterday morning and are guests at the C. G. Ekelund home, 1218 Bemidji avenue.
