SPOONER VILLAGE WELL JOB AWARDED Spooner, Minn., Sept. 16.—Oscar Olson of Buhl was the only bidder for the contract to drill the Spooner flowing well. His bid was $7 per foot, regardless of depth or rock en- countered. The contracts calls for a seventy-five gallon flow per minute within a twenty-four hours test. The village well from which the water will be brought to all parts of Spooner by an adequate water sys- tem will be drilled on the corner south of Colburn avenue and east of Mill street, just outside of the vil- lage limits. Contractor Olson will begin opera- tions as soon as he has completed his other contracts that he has now un- der way at other localities.
