PLEASANT VALLEY Miss Lenora Ryan of Guthrie, who is to teach the Ten-Mile-Lake school this year, arrived Saturday. Other teachers who came this week are Miss Edna Wright, who will teach the Boston Lake school, Miss Marjorie Murphy, teacher of the Pingle school and Miss Alice Neely who will teach the Watson school. Miss Nell Knox returned home Monday after having spent three weeks visiting in New York. Miss Knox went by way of the Great Lakes. The Ladies’ Crochet club held its first meeting at the home of Mrs. Carl Saterlee. Those present were Mrs. J. C. Vogler, Mrs. M. W. Knox, Mrs. N. L. Knox, Mrs. W. S. Fauhl and daughter, May, and Mrs. Carl Sater- lee. The club will meet every ‘Wednesday, except the first, in the month. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Vogler. Miss Nell Knox left Monday for Bemidji. She is to teach school near that city. Laurence and Bess Knox left Mon- day for Bemidji where they will at- tend high school this year.
