For-the presidential nomination the republicans voted predominately for Theo. E. Burton and democrats for President Wilson. Theodore Roose- velt received only slight endorsement of the voters who wrote his nabe on the ballot. Henry Ford received a few votes on both democratic and republican ballots under the same circumstances. The number of votes for either did not appear significant. FLOOD SITUATION IN WISCONSIN SERIOUS Lz Crosse, Wis., April 26.—With 30,000 acres of farm land between Trempealeau and East Winona, Min- nesota, flooded as the result of a break in the Burlington railroad right iof way, two trunk line railroads are been driven from home and 300 head of live stock have been drowned. He was brought to Bemidji a week ago from Kelliher on a charge of insanity. He was found crawling around the cedar yards at Kelliher on his hands and knees. Judge M. A. Clark ordered him taken to St. Anthony’s hospital.
