Read ‘Why We Say: “Wear the LL corns, bunions, in- growing nails, flat- foot, etc., come from the wearing of narrow, bone- bending shoes. Nature will relieve or free you from all such foot-ills if you wear orthopaedically- correct Educators. Therefore we say: Get relief for yourself; and save your children the knowledge of any foot troubles. Do so by putting the whole family into Edu- cators today. Thename EDUCATOR branded on the soleis your guarantee of the good- looking, long-wearing, right-shaped Educator that “‘lets your feet grow as they should.”” Made only by Rice & Hutchins, Inc., 15 HighSt., Boston, Mass. THE BEMIDJT DAILY PIONEEA TERM OF GOUNTY OFFIGERS BEFORE GOURT _ Whether county officers can legally hold offices for four years in Minne- sota was argued before the state su- preme court in St. Paul today. The matter was brought into court on the petition of J. J. Abel who at- tempted to file as a candidate for clerk of the district court of Wright county. J. A. Berg, auditor of Wright coun- ty, refused to accept the affidavit, his defense being that there would be no ) vacancy in this county office until 1918. The clerks of court in 34 counties will be affected by the deci- sion of the court when the case is de- cided. Abel contends that the term of the present clerk of court who was elected in 1912 for four years expires Jan. 1 next, the legislature of 1916 had amended the law so that officers would serve until 1918, thereby ex- tending the terms of the present in- cubents an additional year. Abel contends that this extension is un- constitutional. Easter Footwear Let us supply you with that new pair of shoes for Faster. KELLIHER MAN IS ORDERED TO HOSPITAL Judge M. A.
