I THE BEMIII DAILY PIONEER turned last evening to their home at Pinewood. Miss Gladys Gainey entertained a number of her girl friends last evening, the occasion being her fiftheenth birthday. The evening was spent in playing games after which a lunch was served. George Buckston, a former em- ploye of the rookston Lumber com- pany of this city, now of McLeod, Cal., went last night to St. Paul and Minneapolis after visiting friends and renewing acquaintances here yesterday. About thirty of the Freshmen of the Bemidji high school held a sleigh ride to the G. Grover farm in the town of Northern last night. Refreshments were served after the early part of the evening had been spent singing and playing games. M. Woodley, formerly a carpenter and contractor of Bemidji visited with friends between trains yester- day enroute to Laporte from Inge- donna Narrows where he has been visiting relatives for the past sev- eral months.
