The family of Frank Van Tassel of Nymore narrowly escaped with their lives early yesterday morning when their home at Nymore was destroyed by fire. The entire family escaped to the street in their night clothes and were cared for by neighbors. The fire caused a total loss which is esti- mated at about $800, partly covered by insurance. Mr. Van Tassel was awakened at about four o’clock in the morning as the flames were at the foot of the bed. He awakened his wife.
