Possessed of the greatest op- timism he is never discouraged by defeat or adversity but has the su- preme faculty of rebounding after ev- ery blow. As a former member of congress no request made of him by complishments throughout the Sixth district he was known as a good working congressman. This course, Mr.; Buckman states, will again be pursued by him if the people choose to return him to that body. Mr.. Buckman is-not an alarmist.
