Albert Magneson of New Auburn, Minn., bought up the in- terests of S. O. Refsdal, who for many years has been engaged in the store business at this place. The old store has now been repaired and modified to a great extent by T. O. Gelen who for the past two months has done carpenter work for Mr. Magneson. The prices at the new store compares well with those of the neighboring towns so you will lose nothing, but rather gain, by trading at the Magneson store. : Peter Bakke, who for the past eleven years has been postmaster at Aure, resigned early last spring and has now been relieved of his’duties W. M. VAIL, Owner as postmaster by Albert Magneson, the new storekeeper. The school in Dist. No. 76 opened Monday, Sept. 13, with Mrs. Charles Moller of this place as teacher. The attendance is the largest in the his- tory of the school. Miss Grace Ousley of Aure is teach- ing in the consolidated school in the northern part of the town of Roose- velt. Mrs. Albert Magneson and sister, Olga Hannem, went to Shevlin last Saturday to attend the confirmation of their brother, Olof. Mrs. Carl Hogenson of this place is teaching in one of the neighboring districts in the town of Buzzle.
