BOUCHIER GRAND OPERA TROUPE TO CLOSE CHAUTAUQUA (Continued from Paxe 1) singing “The Bohemian Girl.” 0Of course, this company of seven people will not attempt to put on an opera complete. But certain scemes and acts will be produced exactly as they are shown on the grand opera stage, and the rendition will be of equal merit. The company is headed by Donald Bouchier, who has spent three years on the Redpath-Vawter circuit, and whose high place in music is secure, not only in Chicago, but with the people of the whole middle west as well. The whole company is made up of real artists, artists of a grade that could not have been procured except for the effects of the Euro- | pean war has had upon the fortunes of professional musicians. B emidji, Minn. 80,000 TO ATTEND RACES AT NEW SPEEDWAY With the ticket sales in all sec- tions of the west well under way and the conmstruction work rapidly ap- proaching completion, interest in the 500-mile race for $50,000 at the Twin City Motor Speedway on Sep- tember 4 continues to grow as the entries keep pouring in. Heavy rains of the earlier part of the week de- layed the laying of the concrete track a trifle, but with the succeeding days of sunshine the speedway force was doubled and the work is now right up to the minute as far as the con- tract limit is concerned. Five of the six huge grandstands are completed and work on the sixth has already been started, while both of the bleachers are well on their way. These stands and bleachers have a total seating capacity of eighty thousand and from the ad- vance sale indications every seat will be occupied when the starter’s flag drops at 10 o’clock on the morning of September 4. Inquiries for res- ervations have been received from all sections of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Montana and Wisconsin and already two of the big stands have been sold out. Parking spaces, too, are in demand and the capacity of the infield will be taxed on the occasion of the big race. Four bands will furnish music for the race and these will be named from the best musical organizations of the west. Rossiter’s First Regi- ment band with 70 pieces has already been secured, while the others will be chosen in a short time. It is pos- sible that the famous 4th Regiment band of Watertown, S. D., will be]| among the number. Arrangements have been made IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE UNITED STATES FOR THE DIS- TRICT OF MINNESOTA, SIXTH DIVISION. In the Matter of Edwin F. A.
