Mr. and Mrs. Nels Bye drove to Pinewood Monday where Mr. Bye closed a land deal. Mrs. Marin and her grandaughter Elane Boyd of Bemidji came up Fri- day and spent a few days visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Daniels ar- rived home Tuesday from Bertha, Minnesota, where they have been visiting with relatives the past week. Dan L. Sullivan of Fargo, North Dakota, was here Wednesday looking after the great Northern Experiment Farm’' north of town. I. W. Larson arrived here Monday from Mariette, Minnesota, with his car and moved on the farm south of town that he recently purchased. His family is expected this week. Mrs. Reff English and niece, Rosie ‘Wright, left Saturday for (Canada where she will join her husband who left the same day with their car. This week Claude Kilbourn and wife moved into the rooms over their new hardware store and’ Ed. Lindell and family will occupy the Mike ‘Wold residence vacated by Mr. Kil- bourn. Mrs. Ole Esteson and children left Tuesday for Minnewaukan, North Dakota, where her husband owns a farm. Her niece, Margeret Ander- son and Mrs. Nels Arbogan accom- panied her. . John Olson and family . of Pine- wood left Monday for Benot, Minne- sota, where they will make their home in the future. Mr. Olson has accepted the position of section fore- man at that place. Earl McMahan who was married two weeks ago gave his wedding dance and super in the opera house last Friday night. The dance was well attended and everybody reports a very good time. They received many beautiful presents and $19.50 in silver. . Mrs. M. B. Ecker entertained the Norwegian Ladies .aid Thursday af- ternoon and there was a large num- ber of ladies in attendance.
