¥ Kulman-Naugle *!‘The following item is taken from a Chicago paper, Both the bride and groom are well known to Bemidji people, the bride being the niece of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Naugle of this, city with whom she has made her home for several years. The groom is well known, having taught agri- culture in the Bemidji schools for several months, Miss Ruth Wight- man, who played the wedding march, is also a Bemidji girl, having lived here until recently. She is a sister of Mrs. Charles Vandersluis of this city. She is a masician of much ability . “Miss, Ruth Aleen Naugle, daughter of the late Edward Naugle of LaGrange, and Arthur Henry Kuhlman, a member of the faculty of the University of Wisconsin, were married in the presence of over fifty of the old time friendp that knew Miss Naugle in her childhood, at the home of Mr. and Mrs, M. J. Carpen- ter, 303 South Fifth avenue, Thurs- day afternoon. Rev. Dr. Little of Peoria and former pastor of the Pres- - byterian church at LaGrange per- formed the ceremony. The bride and groom were unattended. Miss Wightman rendered Lohengren’s wedding march and Mrs. Lafield, one of the prominent contraltos of Chi- cago sang a group of songs in a very pleasing manner. The house was charmingly decorated with palms, ferns and yellow jonquils. The fbride wore a gown of white charme- mse with the bodice trimmed with point d’aleoncon and with a long sash of chiffon.
