It is thought that he came to the village on the early morning train. Later a search of the man’s clothes revealed cash, certificates uf deposits and notes amounting to'$3,- 590. According to papers found on his person his name is Fred Nowship and that his home ds at Appleton, Wisconsin. He appears to be about 70 years old and speaks German.
