The states are Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. And the league of in- terest has been formed by the exten- tion divisions of these institutions. The result? Higher class attractions, at cheap- er prices to the communities; a guar artee of the quality and morality of the comjaaies that visit the places where lyceum courses'are a feature of community life; more conimunities reaching forward and upward; mora folks happier. It all came about in the early fall when Paul F. Voelker of the Univer- sity of Wisconsin, J. J. Pettijohn of the University of North Dakota, and Richard R. Price of the University of Minnesota met in Madison, Wis- consin, for a conference and formed 'an association.
