Mr. Mc- Donald is representing the defendant in the suits, totaling $174,000, for damages from fire along the Cana-|J dian boundary, which will be called just as soon as the White Earth Land fraud cases are disposed -of, which will be in ‘about two weeks ‘probably, as there are a vast num- ber of witnesses in the case, includ- ing about 175 Indians. In the land fraud cases Mike Daly and R. J. Po- well are defending Kolb and others, while U. S. District Attorney Haupt is being assisted by Messrs.
