TEARING DOWN SHEDS Crew To Commence Excavafing Monday For Annex Carpenters commenced active work this morning tearing down the barn back of the Markham hotel and clearing the property prepara- tory for the crew of men who will commence Monday excavating for the Markham annex. A large number of men will be set to work excavating and laying the foundation for the brick structure which will be rushed to completion. W. D. Zip Bang was the winner in the 2:16 pace while Danny Bright took the money by winning the 2:15 pace. Both horses have been traveling at a fast rate this summer and at races during the last month have won many heats.
