Eveleth, Minn,, July 26.—Six sticks of dynamite were unearthed by a gang of workmen who were digging a trench for the Jackson straet sewer connections, There were twenty-five men In the crew and there was enough of the explosive to have killed all. The dynamite evidently was placed in the ditch the night previous by un- 1dentified persons. Many persons believe some one who had a grievance against certain work- men sought their lives, while others say it is the work of a “Black Hand” gang, which, they maintain, still ter- rorizes foreigners here.
