The only condition to receiving of the Railroad Fare is that the aggregate purchases reach a certain small total which will, of course, vary for the various number of miles traveled. Yon Can Bring The Whole Family Every member of your family is entitled to a refund sheet and railroad fares will be paid to all providing five per cent of their purchases will amount to the price of their tickets. For instance; the father may make his purchases where he chooses and secure the amounts purchased by him entered on his refund sheet. The mother may do the same and the son and daughter may do likewise. In each case, however, where 5 per cent of purchases amount to more than the price of their ticket, only the price of such fare will be refunded, where it amounts to less or the exact amount the full 5 per cent will be paid. Remember that the only place to secure your refund is at the Bemidji Pioneer Office, who will act as a clearing house for all the merchants. Persons coming to Bemidji from any of the surrounding towns to trade during the merchants’ big co-operative sale will get their fares refunded, providing 5 per cent of their purchases equals the amount of the fare or more. Refund fare slips will be furnished all merchants who have agreed to pay their proportion of the Farmers Included as Well as Town People Fares will be refunded to all persons who come from a distance equal to any of the surrounding towns, whether by the team or rail, this will include farmers as well as persons living in towns. The price of a railroad ticket to and from any of these places will be refunded to all persons whether fares to out-of-town customers during this sale, and in order for you to get your fare refunded you farmers or townspeople, who drive to Bemidji to trade during this big sale just as though they came should obtain one of these slips of the first merchant from whom you make a purchase.
