>3 No. 2 strawberries. “ “ blackberries. JIM JAM JEMS ARE NOT ON SALE HERE (Continued from first page). objectionable gems published in the pamphlet since its inception. This was sent out from Bismarck July 12. The dealers arrested were indig- nant over their lot. Nearly all ex pressed the belief that they would not have handled the publication if they had known arrests were likely as_a result. One dealer said he had not wanted to handle the book, but did so in self-defense to hold his trade. It is not the disposition of the dealers to fight the cases if the grand jury returns indictments, ac- cording to one of the leading busi- ness men arrested today. He says he thinks it will be best to let the court decide the cases if they come to trial. - One of the newsdealers said he had overlooked the edition referred to in the complaint, and that if he had read it through himself he would not have sold it. He said: DRUGGIST RECOMMENDS Vinol for Run-Down People 1f any one person should know the value of medicines it Is the druggist who dispenses them and from our experience we want to say if people in this vicinity only knew the value of Vinol, our delicious cod liver and iron tonic (without oil) at this sea- son of the year, we would not be able to supply the demand. . This is because Vinol is a combin- ation of the two most world famed tonics, namely, the medicinal cura- tive elements of cods’ liver without the oil, and iron for the blood. Vinol tones up the digestive or- gans, purifies and enriches the blood, promotes healthful sleep and a nor- mal appetite. 0ld people, delicate children, run- down, overworked and tired women, shou]d try a bottle of Vinol with the understanding that your money will bé returned if it does not help you. Representative Nolan may be a candidate. Julius Schmahl, secretary of state, has his eye on the job, it is claimed, and may make the race. Walter J. Smith, of Eveleth, state treasurer, has been mentioned many times in connection with the governorship during the last ‘cam- paign and many are of the opinion that he is the logical man to lead the Republican party to victory. State Auditor Iverson is said to have the bee buzzing in his bonnet. In addi- tion to all this, Governor Eberhart has not yet declared that he will not be a candidate to succeed himself. Outweighed al- most ten pounds to the man, the Johnnies from Cambridge made the beefeaters that wore the blue look foolish. They seemed schoolboyish in their play in comparison with the finished style that was played by their opponents. Only once, and that was about .five minutes before the final whistle blew, did Yale show the form that now and then she has flashed, only to sink back into dull- ness' again. And then, withont the aid of the widely advertised Lefty Flynn and others whose reputations belie their ability, but served by a desperate set of players who showed themselves well worthy -of being “Y” men, who started a- march-down the field and took-her fifty-five” yards straight: down' to Harvard’s goal. There she was held but in that brief instant there was seen the power that all season was inherent in the Yale team, but Which has never been brought out. It was a thrilling at- tack, a useless one, perhaps, since even had it triumphed it could not have affected the final result, but it was a part with the best Yale tradi- tions of never quitting until the last man had passed, but instead, to “fight, fight for Yale.” There are not many 20 to 0 troph- ies to be found in Cambridge. In thirty-eight years, during which thirty-three games have been played, Harvard has won just six victories, while Yale has gobbled twenty-two, with five games ending in ties. She had not scored a touchdown against xale until this day for eleven years. But in the last five years, a period coincident with Percy Haughton’s regime as head coach, Harvard has lost but once. She has won twice and been tied twice. Football Capital Moved.
