Miss Humes is planning a series of home talent vaudeville for Brainerd similar to the series recently put on in Be- midji. Unusual interest is being taken in the bowling contests that take place in the Gilette bowling alley of this city. The latest contest takes place this evening when Holmes and Brown will bowl against Howe and Heffron. Several more contests wiil be pulled off in the near future as all are trying for the championship of the city. The members of the Woman’s Study club will give a handkerchief shower at their club rooms in the library Saturday afternoon, at three o’clock.
