DANE, Eaitor. _ FROM A NEIGHBOR Thief River Falls Times—“Over at Bemidji, the city that does things, recently the board of education -acted as host to the farmers of that vicinity at a big picnic. It was planned to hold the picnic in the open air but owing to the inclement weather the meeting had to be held in the school house. There was a big attendance and' Gov. Eberhart was present and delivered an ad- dress. “These are the kinds of meetings that help to make the farmer and the city man more friendly, and create a fraternal feeling that petty differences can’t efface. The idea is an exceptionally good one and shows the kind of men in Bemidji. Thief River Falls could well afford to hold a similar picnie. “It would not benecessaryto let the ‘board of education alone take charge of the affair, although there are local people who feel that the busi- ness men here would not take hold of the matter with any great amount of enthusiasm. The business men could work in conjunction with the school board and make the day not only a picnic day but a market day as well, with a big public auction and free Experience Gained Whils - In the Drug Business I have been troubled more or less in the last five years with kidney trouble and from the experience I gained while in the drug business and from different cases where I have sold Swamp-Root with perfect satis- faction to those who purchased it, and I never had a single complaint regarding the medicine while I was in business, I was in a. position to know that it was a great preparation and it did not fail me when I used it myself. It has certainly afforded me great relief at all times that my kid- neys have troubled me and I would not be without it. I always recom- mend Dr. Kilmer’s Swamp Root to my friends as I believe it to be a medicine of -great curative value in the diseases for which you recom- mend it. Sincerely, " D. A.
