R. C. Hayner went to Tenstrike last evening on business. Attorney Wm. Wood of Cass Lake, spent a few hours in the city yester- day. G. H. Warner of Brainerd, was here for a few hours yesterday, re- turning home last night. Bert Kalier came from Kelliher yesterday on a combined business and pleasure trip. He returned last night. Mr. and Mrs. J. Carter left last night for Minneapolis, where they will spend the next week or two with friends. John R. McKinnon of Crookston, was in Bemidji yesterday having come up to look over the lands in this vieinity. Mrs! Henry Pelky of Joliet, Iil, is expected to arrive in the city to- morrow for a few days visit at the home of her cousin, Jos: Bisiar. Misses Beulah and Edna Brown, daughters of C. L. This morning at 11 o’clock at the office ‘of Judge of Probate Clark, Emil Johnson and Miss Delia Elvera Bloomquist of Alvwood, Itasca coun- ty, were united in marriage. They ‘were unattended.-Mr. Johnson is the postmaster of Alvwood and Mrs. Johnson has been a resident of that town for many. years.
