Sullivan of Black, and C. G. Johnson of Bemidji, Form An Agency. GOVERNMENT BUYS A CAR 5 It has been generally conceded by eighty odd thousand automobile us- ers that the Buick is the one best, and now comes Uncle Sam’s experts’ opinion as it appeared in the Detroit Free Press, Sunday, January 21, 1912: “On last Monday, a Model ‘28’ Buick Motor Car was delivered to Col. Spencer Crosby, of the department of war at Washington, to be used by the inspector of buildings and grounds on his daily trips. “The government invited -all the leading manulariurers of cars priced g | from $900 to.$2,000 to submit a car in competition to a committee of ex- pert mechanical men. These cars were driven to the designated place and the drivers dismissed. The ex- amination was then made with no representative of any of the cars present. Motor for motor, shaft for shaft, bolt for bolt, the cars com- pared, tested and appraised by the government experts. One by one the |cars were eliminated until but one remained. It was tite Buick. Of the 17 or 18 cars submitted the Buick alone stood the rigid test of quality and construction upon which the ex- amination was based. This car was at once turned over to the govern- ment for immediate service.” The above letter explains itself. G. W. Cochran, of this place, has just purchased one of these cars. { TRACK TEAM ORGANIZED. High School Boys Start Work in ! EASY AND SURE WAY ~ T0 GURE COLDS | Dont’ Neglect a Gfild‘, Ely’s Cream Balm Will Stop it in the Sneezing Stage. A cold generally attacks the weak- est part, affecting the eyes and ears in some and producing nasal catarrh and throat troubles in others. A cold is due to an inflammation of the membrane lining the air passages, and may be promptly cured with a little Ely’s Cream Balm, which im- mediately relieves the inflammation and all the distressing symptoms, such as sneezing, coughing, running at the nose and eyes, hoarseness, sore throat, fever and headache. One rea- son why this pure, antiseptic Balm acts s0 quickly is because it is ap- plied directly to the tender, sore sur- face. Even in severe, chronic cases of catarrh Ely’s Cream Balm never fails to quickly and effectually check the poisonous discharge which clogs: the head and throat, causing the disgust- ing hawking, spitting and blowing of the nose. This rémedy not only drives out the disease, but heals and strengthens the weakened mem- branes, thus ending catarrh. Catarrh is a filthy, disgusting dis- ease. Don’t put up with it another day. Get a 50 cent bottle- of Bly’s Cream Balm from your druggist and see how quickly you will be relieved. 1% is perfectly harmless.
