t| DAY AT BEMIDJ THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 'l PUBLIC AUCTION FOR THE FARMERS This means that the farmer can load up and bring his goods to market, and get the cold cash for them and spend his money where he chooses. Nearly every Bemidji merchant is offering a discount for that day and the farmer’s dollar will go further than at other times. Auctioneer will be furnished by the Bemid;i ommercial Club. ) A PUBLIC MARRIAGE WILL BE CONDUCTED Many merchants are offering gifts to the bride and groom. A complete list of special prizes for both the newly weds and the farmers are given below. These prizes are all free---the farmers to get full market prices for their produce. Arrangements have been made whereby no farmer will be compelled to sell his goods at a sacrifice nor return with them. The citizens of the city will attend the sale in large numbers, anxious to lay in a supply of farm produce for the winter. Everything marketable is eligible---Hay, Wood, Oats, Wheat, Potatoes, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Butter, Eggs, Poultry, Pork, Beef, Honey, Hazel-nuts, Etc. There will be a Rest Room for Women and Children, and meals served by Restaurants, Hotels and Church Organizations.
