St. Peter, Sept. 23.—¢ p. m.— (Special to Pioneer.)—The body of the late Governor Johnson arrived in St. Peter at 12:30 today with-the governor’s . military staff acting as escort. All business in St, Peter was suspended for the day and an immense crowd met the body at the depot, Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church at 2:30 this afternoon, the pastor of the church conducting the services, The body was buried in the cemetery besides the bodies of the FORTY CENTS PER MONTH.
