Miss Brown was a student in the Bemidji High School last year and has many friends in this city. Mrs. W. H. Roberts and daughter, Ivis, of this city returned Saturday evening from St. Paul, where Mrs. Roberts visited ten days with friends and met Miss Ivis, who was return- ing home for the Christmas holidays from the Albert Lea college. Bilden and Stortoren of Wilton were out-of-town visitors in the city for a few hours Saturday, returning home on the afternoon train, Iver Krohn, editor of the Shevlin Herald, came in Saturday noon and spent a few hours on business in this city, returning home on the west-bound train in the afternoon. Miss Georgia Smith, one of the local graduates of the Bemidji High School who is teaching in the school at Farris, spent Sunday at her home in this city and returned to her teaching on this morning’s Sauk Center train. Neal of this city, arrived in the city Saturday evening on the north-bound passenger train from Albert Lea, where she is attending the Albert Lea College.
